Just sew it up!

We have had an eventful time lately, Dorothy started by bumping her head on the railing and ended up with 4 stitches.  Then a week later she was running around the yard and sliced her foot open and got stitches again!  She insisted that my dad do it because "daddy is not a Dr like Grandpa."  So thank goodness for a grandpa who knows how to perform stitches ;) and a daddy who knows when his daughter is in hysterics, to just let her have her way!
Her head

Driving to grandpa's so he can do them!

Surgery on Grandma's table!

Ouch!

History repeats itself! I remember another little girl who had to have a few stitches... I'm glad that Dad was there to help!

Hal sewed up one of my girl's wounds once too when we were visiting. He does a great job.

Ouch! What a blessing to have a surgeon in the family. I remember Hal sewing Wesley up at a family reunion after he fell down a mountain. He's a good guy to have around.

Ouch! I wish Jon was brave enough to try stitches on our wounds He prefers sticking to the mouth where you can't see the scars from bad sewing jobs.:) Your Dad is a great guy to have around!

Yup, I've had the experience of Dr. Mickelsen stitching me up. Sure is handy to have someone to fix everyone up instead of going to the ER. =]
