James- Born and raised in Hyde Park, Utah.
Tricia- Born and raised in Caldwell, Idaho.
We met at Utah State University in a Philosophy class. Married in Boise, Idaho temple on December 29, 2001. Have four adorable children Dorothy 8 a Daddy's girl who is full of energy and life. Preston who is 5 and loves all things Angry Birds, Violet who is 3 going on 13 and our newest addition Ruby who is the sweetest little baby! We also have a family dog Cocoa who is Dorothy, Preston and Violet's best friend! James is busy setting up an Orthodontic practice. While Tricia shops, reads, quilts, cooks, cleans and chases kids all day!!
We got hit with a huge snowstorm it melted 2 days later but it was really cold! I decided to make a home cooked meal of cheesy broccoli soup and rolls!! There is just something so beautiful about the snowfall!
This year we decided to dress up as games! I wanted to do something more original and less popular and found these cute costumes! James was checkers, I was Pacman, Dorothy was Twister, Preston was Whack-a-mole, Violet was CandyLand and Ruby was a Barrel of Monkey's!!!
Violet's preschool puts on a cute little Halloween program. She is adorable and when she was singing all those songs I about died. She is so cute! I love watching her and seeing what a little ham she is!
We carved pumpkins and we were lucky enough to have my sister Jessica here visiting! The kids all picked out which pumpkin they wanted to carve and we got busy to work making the creations! I love creating these masterpieces and seeing how much the kids love them too!
We took the kids to Cornbelly's with cousins and they loved it! They jumped on the bouncy pillow, went through the spook alleys, played in the corn maze, ate lunch, played at the playground and played in corn jail! The kids keep asking when we will get to go again!
Mt Loafer had a carnival fundraiser, I was in charge of the spook alley and spent HOURS decorating it and getting it ready to scare the kids!! I talked my good friend Tori into helping and we had so much fun putting it together!! It was a very successful fundraiser and I even agreed to do the spook alley again!!! To help advertise for the carnival I went to each classroom in costume and invited them to come!
These are a few pictures I took before it was finished! It turned out so well!
