End of Year program!

Dorothy had her end of year program and was as cute as they come!!!  I had 9 different mom's come up to me afterwards and tell me what a cute little ham she was!!  My niece Kyra said her teacher commented on the cute girl in the polka dot cardigan and red pants saying "she stole the show, and was so cute!"  I just sit back and watch her with pride because she is so comfortable in her skin and such a talented girl who is beautiful inside and out!!

Tiny Dancer!

Violet has been taking dance all year, the year end recital will be in June but they got their costumes this week.  The dance they are doing is BEYOND cute!  They dance in flower pots at first and the costumes are flower costumes.  I just adore that little girl!

Preston is my tenderhearted little boy!  He always comes up and hugs me and kisses me on the cheek!  He is always so kind to Ruby and cannot walk past her without giving her a kiss!  I am so glad that he is apart of our family!

Walk-a-thon and May Day!

When it rains it pours, Preston and Dorothy had a school fundraiser where they walked for an hour and a half.  Dorothy walked 6 1/2 miles and Preston walked 4!!!  I was so proud of them and was there the entire time cheering them on!!!  I then raced up to Violet's preschool for the annual maypole dance!!!  We raced back to the school to help out and then off to run kids to after school activities!!  Some days my job is VERY busy but I love every second of it!!!

My little Violinists!

The kids have been taking violin Dorothy for 4 years, Preston for 2 and Violet for 1.  Violet finally earned her real violin and has started plucking songs!!!  I have such a love/hate relationship with this instrument!  I love that my kids are so musically talented but let me tell you EVERY violinist has a VERY dedicated mother who sits through lessons and practice after practice!!!  I hope someday they will appreciate my dedication!  Sweet little Ruby has no idea yet but she will start taking lessons in 3 years!!!

Hershey track meet!

Dorothy ran in the Hershey track meet and did AWESOME!!!  She ran the 400 meter and came in 2nd in her heat and then she ran the 200 and came in 4th overall!!!  I was really proud of her and how she did competing against 3 schools!!!  She also did the long jump and jumped 5 feet 6 inches! That is how tall I AM!!!

Spring is Here!!!

The warm weather is such a nice relief from that long hard winter we just endured!  Preston had a field trip to the zoo and Dorothy had one to the aquarium.  School will be out in a few weeks and Summer vacation will start!
