It's a girl!

Tricia went into labor early and had the baby on Saturday, 17 Jan 2009, at 9:09 A.M. Violet was 6 lbs 10.5 oz and 18.5 inches long. (She also got a 9,9 on her Apgar score). Mommy and baby are doing great. Here are a few pictures; Tricia will post more later....

Dorothy is sooooooo excited that it is a girl.

The flash was bothering Violet, so we turned it off. It made these pictures sort of blurry.

Party like a rock star with Dorothy!

Dorothy pleaded with me because she was turning 5, she was old enough to have a Hannah Montana birthday party. Because I am mean, I told her "no." I just thought she was a little young. We compromised and she had a "rock star" party! She was only allowed to invite a few friends from primary because Mommy did not want to have too many kids. She had so much fun and "it was the best birthday ever!" They played, decorated guitars, sang in fake microphones, had a pinata, birthday cake, and Dorothy's favorite: PRESENTS!!!

Our wonderful little birthday girl!!

And of course the backstage pass!

The long awaited doll house Dorothy got for her birthday!!!

Happy Birthday James!

James had a birthday while we were in Utah. He turned 32... We had a small family party which Dorothy and her cousin Lillian helped plan. They choose "Iron Man" as the theme.

Happy Anniversary!

This is a little late but I just wanted to say "Happy Anniversary" to James! Two and a half kids, seven years of starving students, four moves (two cross country), and lots and lots of late nights (many of you know that I have a talking problem!) I just want to say " I love you, and am grateful that you choose to spend your life with me!!

Christmas and New Year's with the Mickelsens!

After spending time with the Thomas family, we went to Allison and Jon's to celebrate New Year's and Christmas! We had lots of fun playing laser tag, bowling, and having a few heated games of trivial pursuit!

Christmas with the Thomas family!

I swear I have like 10 more posts but I am stopping here before I die sitting in this hard chair!

We spent the first half of the Christmas holiday with the Thomas family! We had so much fun and of course lots and lots of cousin time!!

Making the annual gingerbread house! This year Preston was not too much help but he loved eating the candy!

The Christmas Eve pajama party. Grandma and Papa give the kids new jammies every year!! (Dorothy had Hannah Montana and Preston got cars of course!)
Preston cuddling with his cars blanket and pillow!

Dorothy with her 1 of 3 Hannah Montana barbie's!

Pictures with the kiddo's on Christmas!

All dressed up!!

The Sunday we left for Utah (yes I was 36 weeks pregnant and thought it would be a 'good' idea to travel during the holidays!) The kids got dressed up in their Christmas Sunday clothes and being the photo maniac I am... here are the pictures!

Dear Santa,

For Christmas I want... Pee Pee in the potty doll, Cherry blossom market, and Hannah Montana anything!!

Oh yeah, Preston would like... Anything from Cars movie, a fire truck, and balls.

At our ward Christmas party Dorothy was able to let "Santa" know what she would be needing this year as well as what her little brother wanted!
