Blood moon!

We had the most amazing moon it was a blood moon because of the eclipse.  The kids thought it was so amazing.  It's sad because the pictures do not do it justice!

Women's broadcast!

I love how the church changed the age for the girls to 8 because Dorothy and I get to watch this amazing broadcast together!!!  It was so good and President Uchdorf's talk really resonated with me!  After the meeting we had to hit up Sip'N for a treat!

Real housewives of Elk Ridge!

The bunco group I have been apart of for 4 years constantly jokes about how we should be on a reality show...  we are pretty sure people would die of boardum watching us carpool kids, help at school and church and cook and clean.  I guess that's why we think it's so funny!  It was my turn to host bunco so I decided to get tee shirts made for the real housewives!!  We laughed and played bunco all night!

Tea Party!

We had a tea party at grandma's house!  The little girls dressed up as Elsa and Anna and Dorothy and I just dressed up a bit!  We ate fancy food and talked about our great grandmothers.  I love this family tradition because it helps the kids learn more about their ancestors!

Hiking the Y!

For Labor day we decided to celebrate with a hike to the top of the Y!  It is a grueling hike for those who have never done it!  Preston pretty much ran to the top and James and I kept stopping to "enjoy" the view!  It's hard for Utes to hike the Y so we had to do our families pose up top!!!  For dinner we had a BBQ at grandma's house where Dorothy made me a Doc McStuffins cake!!!  Ruby planned my cake and Dorothy willingly made it!

38th Birthday fun!

For my birthday this year I had a party where we went to dinner at of course Chick-Fil-A and then off to laser tag!  I love playing this game with all my friends and their kids!  It was so much fun and the kids keep asking when we are going again!

Ruby's off to dance!

We decided to switch dance studio's this year and it has been such a wonderful choice for our family!  Dorothy is not quite as over scheduled, but she still dances 6 hours a week.  She also started taking gymnastics this year!  Violet is taking dance and cheer.  Ruby wanted to start dance sooooo bad but got really nervous as soon as she got there!  Here is a picture of her on her first day!
