Dorothy had a recital/fireside and the theme was "Be thou an example of the believers" it was all based around the gospel and being a good example. I feel so blessed that she can be apart of such a wonderful dance organization where she has a teacher who bears her testimony to the girls. The dances were all beautiful and each girl bore her testimony through dance. It was a wonderful recital and the spirit filled the room, I am excited for Dorothy (and someday Violet) to participate in many more firesides!
All dressed and ready to go...

You're right, she's not so little anymore. Her pose is so graceful.
That makes me SO happy that she and her cousins are part of something that teaches what all the arts are: expressions of our testimony and joy. Dance- well, all of the arts are- so often is used to express the base and worldly. How refreshing and wonderful that you've found a place that teaches truth. Oh, Joy!!!
She looks so pretty. I hope when Joslyn gets older she will want to dance- then her older brothers can go to her performances and be just as excited as Preston is. :)
She looks so beautiful and very graceful. I wish I could have seen those little girls perform!
I love the dramatic toe point!
The three cousins look beautiful together!! That dance class sounds like a great find.
What a quality program that was! There was no applause between numbers ( it was a reverent and spiritual presentation) and the girls were dressed modestly and danced to uplifting music. The slide presentations and stories were inspirational. I was so proud of my grandaughters!!
They all looked beautiful and danced so gracefully. Each had a little solo part and they did their parts perfectly! Do I sound like a bragging grandma? Even
Grandpa Hal was impressed and enjoyed this performance!
Who directs her dance studio? Who is her teacher? My guess is that they graduated in dance ed from the Y . . . I might know them! What an awesome group to be part of; I'm jealous! That is exactly what dance and the arts should be.
Nesha Woodhouse. She did go to BYU Allison and her were Freshman at the same time but there are a lot of ladies that teach for her I bet you would know! Her website it http://lifehouseacademy.com/ and it lists the teachers.
She looks still so cute. I'm quite impressed she had a solo! Way to go Dorothy!
