Ragnar Wasatch Back!

Our team "Where the wild things run" ran Ragnar again this year!  I was runner #1 so I got to start our team off!  It was a lot of fun and very challenging but so rewarding!  I love the bond that you create with those ladies you run with.  This year I got to run in a van with my two sisters which I LOVED!!!  We had so much fun and laughed and laughed!  I can't wait to do it again and already signed the team up for next year!!!
Our fancy ride!!!

I ran 9.2 miles and when I finished I had 2 huge blisters!!!
Here is one OUCH!

Swimming Lessons!!

The kids had Summer swimming lessons in Payson this year.  Dorothy took an advanced class that helped her with her strokes, Preston and Violet took level 2 and did really well, and Ruby and I took the mommy and me!  She LOVED swimming lessons and would cry when she had to get out of the pool!!!  All four of them love swimming and they were all sad when they were over!

Dance Recital!

Dorothy and Violet both had their end of year recital.  Dorothy danced to two songs 1st Rockin' Robin and the 2nd was Stay'in alive!  They were both darling but the 2nd one was hilarious because they dressed up as senior citizens and the name of the number was 'after hours at the seniors center'.  The girls have been so excited about this dance for months!!  Violet danced to two numbers also 1st was Mary had a little lamb and the 2nd was Baa Baa black sheep.  It was adorable!!  She knew her dance perfectly and stole the stage!

Mother daughter brunch!

Our ward had a mother daughter brunch for our wards activity days.  We had it at a reception center in Elk Ridge with fresh fruit, muffins and quiche.  The primary president gave a spiritual message and talked about anchoring ourselves in Christ.  Then we all wrote letters for our daughters and went off in our own little corner and read them together.  I hope Dorothy will always have a memory of the special afternoon!

Girls Night!

The boys went to fathers and sons (no pictures because James forgot sorry!) and so the girls had a movie party!!  We got our favorite treats and then watched Enchanted.  The three girls and I all slept in my bed it was a bit of a squeeze but a really fun girls night!!

Piano recital!!

Dorothy has become quite a talented pianist, she loves playing the piano and is blossoming!  She wants to learn all of the songs we sing in Primary which I think is just darling!

Preston the almost baseball player!

Preston decided to play baseball this year, it was coach pitch and he was excited to try it!  He is left handed which can really work to his benefit but the poor kid really has a short attention span!  He did pretty well when it came time to bat, he could usually hit it and loved running to the base.  When it was his turn to play outfield he was out of it!  He gets board out there but did love being catcher!  We will try again this year and see if he still enjoys it!
Watching our little player!

There he is laying down!!!

You see the ball back there?  Yep that's my little guy!!!
