Happy Anniversary!!

I can't even try and put nine years into words, what I would end up saying is deeply personal and not 'blog appropriate!'  So instead I will say in nine years of marriage we have been through...  Nine different Countries, Eight years of school, Seven ER visits, Six different cars, Five different moves, Four broken TV's, Three lost teeth, Two little dogs, and One best friend for all eternity!
So happy together (even if it was FREEZING outside!)

The wonderful friends and family who came!

Merry Christmas!!!

We had a wonderful Christmas, the kids woke up early and could not wait to see what Santa had brought them!  We then headed over to my Mom and Dad's and had Christmas dinner.
Dorothy in front of all her fun stuff!

I could barely get this one to sit still for the picture!

She had to rock on the horse in order to take the picture!

I got exactly what I wanted!

So did James... who much to my dismay is the new owner of a hand gun!!  He now has 4 guns so I guess we see who won that battle!?

Christmas night at Grandma and Grandpa's!
The girls with uncle.

Crazy cousins!!!

Daddy and Pressy!

Dorothy and I

Violet got really worn out!

Pressy even went flying!

Twas' the night before Christmas...

We started Christmas Eve with tradition, going out to breakfast at Mimi's Cafe (best breakfast place EVER FYI)  Then a little last minute shopping and home to grab some stuff and head to cousins!  We had so much fun with the 'elephante blanco' exchange, and wonderful food!
They each got to open one gift (an ornament) and Dorothy got Tinkerbell at the Eiffel Tower.

Pressy's was Toy Story 3 (of course!)

Violet's was the Queen of Hearts!

Playing at Cousins!

For the Christmas Eve recital Dorothy played "Jolly Old St. Nicholas"

and "Jingle Bells" on her violin.

The Elephante Blanco exchange!

James and 'coke bottles!'

Back home to un-wrap the PJ's Grandma and Papa give them every year (and also jump on the bed a bit!)

Then off to bed where "Visions of Sugar Plums danced in their heads!"

Snow Day!!!

On Tuesday morning we woke up to a winter wonderland!  It was BEAUTIFUL and they actually cancelled school (first time in like 15 years) the kids loved bundling up and playing in it all day!!!

Look how high the snow is!

Pressy-boy playing in the snow!

Violet enjoyed eating the snow as much as playing in it!

Poor James had to shovel the walk like 3 times!

Cocoa really like playing in it too!  She kept getting buried in it because it was so deep!

Guess we got that 'White Christmas' we all were hoping for!

Mo-Tab Christmas Concert!

James and I headed up to SLC to attend the Mo-Tab Christmas concert.  We had to get there almost two hours early (unlike every other year we have gone) because David Archuletta was performing and it was PACKED!!  The concert was beautiful and inspiring, I truly felt the spirit testify of the birth of a tiny baby in Bethlehem so long ago.  We felt so blessed to have tickets and to be able to attend!
Waiting for an hour in our seats before the concert!

The beautiful production!

Walking around Temple Square!

It is so beautiful at Christmas time!

James wanted me to get a picture of "Season's Beatings!"

Heading home after a wonderful night out!

Let it snow, let it snow, let it snow!!!

The other day we woke up to a winter wonderland!  The kids were thrilled and so I bundled them all up and sent them outside to play!
Even Cocoa decided to start playing around!

They all thought it would be a 'good idea' to try eating the snow!

Burrrrrr that's cold!

Even little Violet had to try it!
