The kids begged and begged all Summer long to sleep on the trampoline. When I was a kid we spent so many summer nights on the trampoline. Finally James caved in and slept out there with them! He woke up the next morning and said it was the worst night of his life and his back hurt for a week! I am not sure they can talk him into it again! Little Ruby and I stayed inside and slept comfortably in our own beds!
On the 24th of July we ran the Speedy Spaniard again! I seriously love that race, such a fun run! I even got to run it with the girls I ran my first 1/2 with! The kids all ran the 1 mile race and little Violet came in first!!! She may or may not have been riding on the stroller for part of the run! This race is such a wonderful family tradition I really want to continue with!
James ran the Hobble creek half and did AWESOME!!! He did not really train for it because he found out 2 weeks before that he was going to run it. Long story but the girl that owns the crossfit gym we work out at had purchased a spot in the race and got injured so she just wanted someone to run it. James agreed after I talked him into running it!!!
We went up to Sundance for the singer songwriter concert. It was so fun to hear all the songwriters tell us the stories behind popular songs you hear on the radio. We did get in trouble because we were a little noisy and got shushed a few times! I guess we figured that because it was a concert it was ok to sing along, chat and have a good time!!!
