My little Soccer Stars!!!

Spring soccer is in full swing (and slightly taking over my life) the kids are LOVING it!  Dorothy is a really talented soccer player at her first and second games she scored 3 goals!  Preston scored one goal in his first game!  So far they both have won all their games but that might just be luck!  I am just so proud of them for getting out there and trying!  My favorite thing about soccer is that Preston will say to me each night "Say goodnight to your little soccer star mommy!"  He is so cute!

Spring Break!

For Spring Break we had a 'stay-cation' here in Utah.  We did head to SLC and stay to get a little break!  Each day we did something fun for the kids!  Day one we did science experiments.  Day two we went on a hike and had a picnic in the park.  Day 3 we saw the movie Mirror Mirror.  Day 4 and 5 we spent in SLC  it was really fun and pretty low stress!

Easter Sunday

It was such a special day I love that we had Easter on a fast Sunday (our ward does fast Sunday after conference.)  The weather was so beautiful and the kids were actually really good during church!  I made the skirts the girls wore on Easter (a moment of insanity that will not be repeated!)

*If the yard looks crazy it's because it is!!!  We have our front yard in but our backyard has required a 3-7 foot retaining wall and we had the guys working on it before and after Easter (another post on that craziness later!)  So we have a lot of dirt right now and are still getting bids to put in a sprinkler system out back $$$ who knew you could easily blow 20K on a backyard?!!!*

Easter Baskets!!!

On Saturday morning the kids woke up early and RAN to where the 'Easter bunny' had left their baskets.  They ate candy for breakfast (I figured just eat as much as you want for 1 day and finish it off!)  I was sad because I had ordered some more plasma bikes off of Amazon and they did not show up until Tuesday after, apparently it really did take the whole 7 business days!  They also each got 2 books since I worked the school book-fair the week before (support the school right!?)  The kids loved what they got even without the bikes!

We dyed eggs for Easter and the kids loved every second of it!  I even made them egg-salad sandwiches afterwards and they said they loved them!
