Ribbon cutting!

As the newest member of the Salem/Spanish Fork chamber of commerce, James was honored with a ribbon cutting ceremony to celebrate the opening of Thomas orthodontics. Here are some pictures of the fun!

Happy Birthday little buddy!

Pressy-boy turned 3... I can't believe he is that old! I swear he was just born. He wanted to have his party at pirate's cove (actually called Pirate Island) it's like Chuck-E-Cheese with a pirate theme and GOOD food! He wanted to have a "Buzz party" so we tried to combine them all! We had a great time and he keeps asking me if he can have another party but this time with a Cars cake!

Disney on ice!

Dorothy LOVES Disney on ice and saw a commercial about how it was coming to SLC (I hate how they advertise to kids so much these days!) She informed James and I that we HAD TO GO! About a week before I saw a commercial and they were offering 'deals' to get you to buy... 10 minutes later we had seats. Sometimes I am such a sucker! We went to the show and enjoyed it! Preston almost ran out on the ice when the CARS showed up! Dorothy of course was more interested in getting every toy for sale in the lobby, than watching the show. Can you say future shop-a-holic! Violet watched the show for about 25 minutes and then wanted to go "explore!"
Before the show

The highlight of the night... CARS!

Pressy waving and yelling "Goodbye McQueen!"

Las Vegas part 2

Being the food fan that I am we had to go to Jean Philippe (the world renown pastry chef) and grab some dessert! We walked all up and down, and down and up the strip so many times my feet almost fell off! I was so exhausted I forgot to take pictures of everything! Here are a few more pictures of the beautiful, dirty, fun, sinful Las Vegas!
Choosing out dessert at Jean Philippe in the Bellagio!

The Eiffel tower at the Paris!

Dorothy and I all ready to hit the town!

James and I at the Venetian!
(that's where I am planning on staying next time!)

During the pirate show at Treasure Island. (if you have kids and think it's a good idea to take them... it was the trashiest pirates show I have ever seen!)

Preston and I in front of the Pirate ship at Treasure Island!

Walking the strip at night!

Eating our amazing desserts from Jean Philippe
It was the best carrot cake I have ever had!
The HUGE bathtub the kids thought was a hot tub!!
(another reason Dorothy wanted to move it!)

Viva Las Vegas Part 1

Friday we (James) get the hair brained idea to go to Las Vegas. Now I ask you "what is better than an impromptu trip to Las Vegas?" the answer "an impromptu trip to Las Vegas WITHOUT kids!" We are crazy and decided to take the kids (since it was short notice and all!) Also there was an orthodontic convention that weekend (James didn't attend) but we felt that was a good enough reason! As soon as we arrive we checked in our hotel and headed down the strip!
The kids looking out the hotel window (this is all they wanted to do the first 20 minutes.)

Dorothy who pleaded with us "can we puleeze live here?"

Our five star hotel for a 3 star price (thank you priceline!)

All I wanted to do was go to Serendipity3 for some frozen hot chocolate!

After an hour wait...
It was totally worth it. AMAZING!

I would highly recommend getting take out and eating in their large outdoor seating area! I got the ABC burger (avocado, brie and caramelized onions) DELISH!!!

My favorite picture of the trip... all three kids pounding frozen hot chocolate!!!
Shopping inside Caesar's palace. GREAT SHOPPING IN VEGAS!!! My wonderful husband even took the kids so I could hit up the Anthro!

Violet watching the fountains at Caesar's palace!

In front of the fountains at Caesar's!

M & M world my kids thought this was the BEST part of the trip!

You can go from New York, to Paris and onto Italy in a half of a mile!

Walking around the strip!

Dorothy at the Bellagio in their botanical gardens. They are celebrating Chinese new year and it was beautiful!

2010 is the year of the Tiger.

More of the botanical gardens!

My kids LOVED the fountains at the Bellagio! They would hoot and holler at them like they were on a roller coaster!
